Each family presents a business plan to be evaluated by the church leadership in Colladere and Bright Hope’s field agent.
The first installment of $50 will be given to be repaid over a period of six months.
The entire church-wide loan (which includes all of the families) must be repaid before a second installment is given to promote group accountability.
Subsequent installments are increased by increments of $50, with the second installment being $100, the third $150, and the last at $200.
Daily oversight is provided by the church leadership with the church nominating a loan officer.
Ongoing training is provided by Bright Hope’s field agent on a monthly basis and the church leadership with mandatory meetings every few weeks to discuss business issues and opprotunities.
