Go to Laredo which is on the border of Texas and Mexico to serve a community much in need. Some of the ministries involved in this trip include Silver Star program, a ministry providing basic needs and services to the elderly and disabled; Los Colonia’s Outreach, a ministry bringing food, supplies, and the Gospel to a poor community on the Mexico border where many families are without basic needs like electricity and water; Ein Gedi Farm, an agricultural project that provides food to the Colonia community and teaches them the basics of farming; and Joseph Store House for the Nation’s Food Depository, a food distribution center providing products and financial support for many local ministries that feed the hungry.

The trip to Laredo will include working within different areas of ministry, including:  helping the elderly with grocery shopping, bringing food and supplies to the Los Colonia’s community, visiting local farms and bringing food and supplies to the families of the migrant workers of the area, stocking the Joseph Store House for the Nation’s Food Depository, and building relationships with those that we have the honor to serve.

Cost: $25.00 person or $50.00 family. Payment in full is due with registration. Drop off your registration and payment to the Church office.

Help transform one of the city corners in the city. The team will be putting in pavers and do some landscaping to bring beauty to the blighted southern edge of the church building.  Work with brothers and sisters from Nueva Vida La Villita Karlov to restore a small section of the city scape.

Renovate the men’s bathroom in the church. The goal is to have it fully renovated bathroom in one day. A few other small projects around the church will be incorporated.
